These terms describe the intended use of Music Score for creating, playing and exporting supported notation. The status above indicates whether they are effective.

The service and publisher

Music Score helps you create, edit, play and export a focused notation format. Publisher: Individual developer — verified personal name to be supplied at launch. Contact: A working support address will be added before public launch.

The standalone player works in your browser. The ChatGPT integration also depends on ChatGPT, its availability and the terms that apply to your OpenAI account.

Your music and permissions

Use music and files that you have the right to provide and process. You retain the rights you hold in your input. Providing an input allows Music Score to process it to carry out your request; these terms do not transfer ownership of that input to the developer.

Review generated music and exports before publishing or distributing them. Music Score does not guarantee that generated material is unique or that using it will satisfy third-party rights.

Supported notation and accuracy

Music Score supports a focused subset of MusicXML and Music Score JSON. Unsupported musical features may be rejected or reported. Import and export can regenerate layout and presentation. Keep your original files and check the notes, rhythms, harmony and downloaded output.

Do not use the service to upload malicious content, bypass access controls, disrupt availability or process material unlawfully. Automated requests remain subject to the hosted service’s capacity limits.

Availability and changes

The developer may update supported features and fix defects. Access can be interrupted by maintenance, capacity limits or failures in dependent services. Save copies of work you need to keep; Music Score does not provide a persistent score-storage account.

Before these terms become effective

The developer must review these terms for the countries where the service will be available and complete any applicable consumer, liability, dispute and publisher-disclosure provisions. Nothing in this draft is intended to remove mandatory consumer rights. No jurisdiction, business registration, payment terms or verified identity is asserted by this draft.
